I have spent a LOT of time out there this week, and its not classic fall top water yet. :smt012  The rules I originally set were to protect fish under low water levels with a typical fall WFO bite.  That situation has not developed.  To put some Bendo into the event and some fish in the panko, bait is now allowed.  However, I want to keep the incentives for artificial and flies going, because I think they are cool, and add some interest to the strategy.

In addition, there are enough SHALLOW spots to make zooming around in a weigh-boat unsafe and a bite killer, so the C&R bonus is gone.  Weigh-in at the camp.  Hours go unchanged.

So here it is:

Bait gets true weight
Artificial get 8 oz/fish
Flies get 16 oz/fish

We will still weigh up to 2 fish/angler.

Sorry for the change, but its tough enough right now to prevent mayhem, we do want to catch some fish.

Crap now If I am lucky enough to catch 2 fish early do I let one go and hope for a bigger one :smt009 or keep the 1st 2?

I guess I will troll a fly and a minnow and cast lures to the boils. :smt001 Gotta cover all the bases.

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.
