Hey Everyone, thanks for adding me to the forum! I've been shore fishing for trout in the Sierra Nevada for the last several years and have been wanting to learn more about saltwater fishing closer to where I live in the Bay Area. I have also been checking out fishing kayaks for the last couple of months and managed to upsell myself (and my husband) on a (used) Hobie Tandem Oasis over the winter holidays. We're alternating between excitement and overwhelm with so much to learn. Looking to learn a lot in this forum and hopefully meet some fellow anglers who want to get out there and catch some fish  :fish:

Hobie Oasis is a great kayak.
My wife and I enjoy fishing from ours.  If you have any questions regarding the Oasis kayak, let me know.

Welcome aboard!  Lots of good kayak fishing opportunities in the Bay area.  Lots of good knowledge and experience shared on this board too - and very helpful folks if you have questions.  I recommend checking out the safety section - good stuff over there focused on setting yourself up for success.
