Suggestions for an all- rounder shore/ surf spinning rod for mendocino coast?

I am curious if anyone has suggestions for a well rounded surf and shore spinning rod for the Mendocino coast. All of my current rods are for kayak based jigging, and am looking to get a good rod that will allow me to fish rockfish from the rocks, or perch and ? from the surf. Hopefully something with enough backbone to lift a crab snare too.. Any suggestions appreciated, thankyou!

you wouldnt rake your garden with a shovel right? going to have hard itme casting a perch rig on a rod that can huck a 12oz snare.  Get a SST rod for the Perch, your kayak gear will be fine for rockfish on the rocks; its what im using. The crab snares you'll want a tall 10 to 12 foot heavy rod that can huck weight.

I like the Daiwa Sealine Surf in 9' or 10' for rockfish and snaring crabs from the shore. You could catch a perch with it but it's really too big and heavy for that application. It's also a bit light for snares but it can be done.
