RS 9/16 Slowwww....

Talk about slow... I've never seen RS this slow before. This has always been my "go-to" lake to C&R bass.
It all went dead after the spawn. In the past, I was able to cruise along the shore line/reeds and watch the bass below me. Not this year.  I'm no expert on fishie type things, but I can see that the fish population looks different.

I was on the lake at 8am, off at 11:30am. Winds were calm when I started. Then picked up and started blowing hard an hour later. Fished all my usual hot spots and only caught one bass. Nice to be on the water, didn't get skunked.

That's not good news Al. If the BassSlayer is having a hard time catching fish, the rest of us don't stand a chance. I was hoping to head out to RS with the boys soon. But now I'm not sure.

Do it!!! I'm sure you and the boys would still have a nice time on the lake...anytime on the water with the kids is a good time.

Maybe you can figure it out and set me straight!
