I have to visit my girl friend's brother cuz he just had a baby on 10th (major GAF).  He lives in Valley Springs where very close to New Hogan Res.  It's famous for stocked striper like Mendo, so I'm thinking about good practice for BAM III.
I probably have my girl friend or her brother w/ me, but any companies welcome (more GAF).
PM me for my cell or I'll carry my VHF. so Ch 69.

I might be up for a trip. I would have to say the striper fishing is tough. It can be hot one day then the nest day nothing. You are better off chasing largemouth there. I know some good spots and a place for a free launch

Stripers always seem to be like that. Some days it's fire.. and somedays you swear you're on the wrong lake. Shooting for the top first isn't a bad idea though. Did that at Del Valle once and rallied lots of stripers and it's not even really a striper lake.
