I need a fishing kayak under 60lb on a limited budget because my rack has a weight limit of 150lb, and I already have an 80lb kayak.

I am looking at this kayak: https://www.westmarine.com/pelican-sentinel-100xp-angler-kayak-20761359.html

Can it be used in calm saltwater conditions around Half Moon Bay and Santa Cruz?

Thanks!

I've never paddle the 11' but he's also selling one if you're concern about the weight. Most of us prefer 12' or more for the ocean. The bay will have that pelican spinning when the winds picks up.
