Wow! Thanks for the advice everyone. I'm definitely going to check this site as often as I can.  Santa Cruz sounds like lots of fun. "Squidbly", do you have a website address so I can check out times and prices for classes?

Hi everyone.
I have a new Wilderness 115X and a few fishing poles but I'm pretty green at kayaking and fishing. I'm wondering if anyone out there has or knows of a group or someone that goes out with novices. I'm interested in lake, river and ocean fishing. I would love to invest in a crab trap and go crabbing too. I've gone kayaking in Lake Berryessa, Lake Sonoma but have been unlucky fishing. Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know where I may be able to launch my kayak on Sonoma Creek? Maybe around HWY 121, Sonoma, or any private property where I may access the creek?
