Hi all,

Did a little experiment inside bodega bay, as the weather this Sunday was a bit much for the outer bay.

Dropped several crab rings in the far inside of the bodega bay channel in front of Lucas wharf and the Tides restaurant just to see I’d there were any Dungeness  crabs there since it seldom gets much pressure. Although I did not catch any keeper Dungeness , I caught hundreds of baby, and adolescent Dungies to 4”. I am so pleased that the Dungeness rookery on the Sonoma coast is doing well. I figured this would be good info for the kayaker group.

Tight Lines and full pots all,

Steve

That's good to hear. Tomales has been just super thick with the littles, seems like a good sign.

Thanks for sharing the experiment result with us Steve.
