Awesome day otw couldn't have asked for a better day all together. Got up at 4:30 loaded my kayak and fishing gear to meet up with some new NCKA friends that had been trying to catch some rocks and lings. Day started off pretty bad cause I forgot my wallet so I had to go back home which sucked cause we had scheduled to meet up at 5:30-6:00 and I got to the launch spot at 6:40.! Bummer we got on the water at around 7 by around 7:40-8 we had arrived at our destination(red buoy) we started off by fishing close to the kelp bed but no hookups for about 30mins so I decided to go straight to my last spot as soon as I got there I landed two small blacks so I threw them back. By then Jimmy and Bobby had gotten over they're Fisherman instinct to stay close to the kelp bed where the fish would seem more likely to be and joined me on what I call my secret spot. In less than 5 mins jimmy was hooked onto a nice grass rockfish 1.2-1.5 pounds. We ended up the day with 11 rockfish 1 lingcod(24")2 greenlings and a cabezon(19") Jimmy also lost a 30-40ib(guessing lol) lingcod which was hitch hiking on one of the greenlings. We caught over 20 rockfish for sure and 2 lingcods only one being a keeper definitely a great spot.

Awesome time fishing! That was everyone's catch (3 of us) - very conscious of the regulations.

Perhaps you should learn to post things in the appropriate section of the board??

Maybe it might get a little more attention on your threads cuz it seems that you need the attention.  I did my part, I didn't screen watch.   :smt044
