Selling a 2017 Hobie Oasis in ivory dune. Very fun and fishy boat. Sad to see it go, but in the past 3 years it’s been out maybe twice, and it is taking up limited garage space. Comes with the following:

- 2 MD180 drives with leashes
- 2 Vantage seats
- 1 Hobie paddle
- Hobie Sidekick Ama kit
- 4 Scotty deck mounts
- 2 yakattack gear tracks

Gearing Up and Rigging Up / Fish finder advice needed

So the hobie Oasis I bought used came with a Lowrance M68C fish finder. Everything was included except a thru hull transducer. Can anyone recommend a good affordable transducer that will put this fish finder back in business?

Also, is this model fish finder really outdated? Should I consider upgrading the entire system?

Any and all advice appreciated. I do not know much about fish finders.

Kayaks / Hobie Oasis or...

I want to buy a tandem pedal drive kayak this year. My eyes are on the Hobie Oasis.

Is there any other kayak I should consider? The Tandem Island is awesome, but a little out of my price range.

I'd be using this mostly to fish around the sf bay, half moon bay, and the bay area lakes.

Hello everyone,

New member here. I am from San Francisco and I do a lot of fishing on the surf for striper and perch, but I have been wanting to get into kayak fishing for a while now. My main concerns before getting into the hobby are budget and safety. Hope to find and share useful information here.
