Anyone else have one set up?  I recently pulled my old Davis out of my storage to put up finally.  I had it up and operational at my last residence for about 7 years then.
I haven't put it at current location due to all the redwood duff that cakes the roof, however there is an area that gets minimal duff and is so happens to be about right in the middle of the roof.  I was concerned about the rain gauge getting clogged up, but I don't think it will where I'm planning to put it up.
This little console has a sense of humor, when it's pouring, at a rate over 1'/hr it tells you in text display "It's raining cats & dogs outside!"
