Moving to San Diego. Browsing the local kayak fishing forum on the topic and everyone recommended the 50/200. I've never fished there and don't know much about yellow tail and wsb fishing and the typical depths, but rock fish seems to be best in depths of greater than 100ft.
Yup. They fish deep down there. 50/200 is a good choice.

Does anyone know if the transducer that comes with the Mark 4 HDI 50/200 and 455/800 (part #000-11299-001) is compatible with an Elite 4 HDI? The reason I ask is I want to upgrade to the 50/200 455/800 transducer (part #000-10977-001), but I can get the Mark 4 HDI with 50/200 for cheaper. If it is compatible then I can have an extra head unit and power cable as a bonus
