All my buddies in NJ and NYC are scoring on the best striper run in years. They have not been restricted at all since the beginning of the  outbreak launching in am/pm. I'm wondering if these launch closers are going too far here in the Bay Area ?

From the SMC website: I guess we need to wait another month?

In addition in San Mateo County, beach parking lots and adjacent parking areas must remain closed to the public for beach access, and local authorities are encouraged to close or prohibit parking in areas adjacent to beaches as necessary to prevent crowds that cannot feasibly comply with the requirements of the order.

So is Albion/ fort brag open and accessible for fishing on May 1st?
Been looking at the website for San Mateo County and its marinas, still no word on when they will open?
Called pillar point last week. they said if you have a slip you can get out but if not the parking lots and ramp remains closed.
Anyone have any info on when they will reopen and we can fish again?
Thanks

Hi  Guys I'm looking for a small motor home.  Anyone have one they want to sell or info where to buy make model? Bathroom and shower would be nice. Something small enough to get around town/parking, but also could be lived in for a long weekend.
Thanks

Gearing Up and Rigging Up / Re: Probably need to buy salt reel

I used to use 50 lb braid but changed to 20Lb -found it to cast a heck of a lot farther and drop faster in the water column with lighter weight. plenty strong with adjusted drag. Great for casting to busting small tuna when needing an extra few feet and jigging lake trout  100feet down with light jig.

Off the subject a little. Saw this at a local resturant . Not sure if they are red abalone or farm raised?
