Gearing Up and Rigging Up / Re: Kokatat comes thru again
« on: May 09, 2025, 11:26:38 AM »

I bought my Kokatat drysuit used, sent it in later to have the wrist gaskets repaired and they sent me a brand new one, very happy camper with Kokatat.

Hi Ricci, just wanted to bump this thread up and ask what else you need for the " Taco Shack ", I'll check back with you before we head out.

Thanks again, tight lines Tim
Hey Tim, thank for donating. We still could use plates, packs of shredded cabbage, couple purple onions, cilantro, and limes.
Ricci what is still needed? I can throw some $$ your way, or will be hitting the store prior to heading up and can buy whatever you need.

Sam is going to bake some desserts for me to bring as well.
That sounds awesome John. Either or will work. I listed some items we still could use. Oh, Corn tortillas! Preferably white King size. Yes lots of tortillas

hey Ricci, got you covered on plates, limes & Cilantro

I didn’t see a site number given when I reserved. Do you have to call to get a specific site?

I called and reserved so I can get a specific site number. You can call the reservation number. I always call the campground (707)842-0918 and talk to Mikah(I think thats how its spelled). He is the manager and has been there the longest. He has always taken care of me and my groups in the past.

Yes, this is the best way' DawnAnn is also very helpful. See you all there.

I will have the usual picnic table by my site with trade/sale items. If you wanna put something to swap/sell please put name, price, and site number so they can find you if interested.
This is cool, I've got a kayak rack I need to off.

I think it was GS7 when the big Black Bear was terrorizing us in the campground.
Ate my tortillas and destroyed my ice chest.

Yep, ate all my deli BBQ chicken but left the smoked salmon  :smt044

Also thank you for not doing this on Mother's day, as my better half will now be able to attend  :smt007

Wow it seems like such a long time but this is what brought this huge group together so long ago. So many memories of enjoying the wonderful fishing up here. I look forward to hanging out with everyone again. Hopefully Shuland doesn't disappoint! LOL :smt005 Make sure to bring in your best fish taco sauce for all to try. Maybe have a little competition for the best fish tacos sauce at Jacks Shack!
Tight lines!  :smt006
Jim

I like your thinking here, hopefully someone will make an Avocado/tomatillo sauce  :chef:
