I snagged/caught a large rock scallop in 120' in Baja.



which tasted great cooked with bacon on the camp stove and served on a conch shell.

All,

From what I have been able to find I think it was a Soupfin.  I went to the Monterey Bay aquarium and showed the pics around....they agreed Soupfin.

Fred / Savage with a tagged LMB at Lake Del Valle - 05.20.06

The tag number and the weight of the fish was given to the Del Valle tackle shop and the bass was later released.
