I had a hard time changing, putting kayak and gear away, etc. and hitting the potluck and raffle last time. An extra 1/2 hour between weigh-in and potluck/raffle would be good.
Food truck could be a good option, but dealing with cash, etc. could be a pain. Maybe the entry fee could be bumped $10 and include a food ticket to the food truck.

I'm sure it would add too much difficulty, but carving up a winning halibut and making fish tacos would really be epic. Maybe have a backup in a cooler in case none were caught. I'll bet Todd and/or Sonny could make that happen. It would be an amazing consolation prize for those of us who hali-skunk.

I will gladly donate the Halibut if caught on that day.  I am sure Todd will do this too.

7th sounds good, food trucks would be cool (though may not be enough business to attract them), for the Pot Luck, maybe just ask people to sign up to bring something? with categories, like Chips/Dip, protein, desert, etc. with each being enough for a certain number of people. and if folks wanted to go in on something together they could, or maybe some folks could just pitch in a some cash for  others who bring a lot.

my *impression* is that the closer the tournament is to where people live, the more potluck shows up, when it's further, then less potluck, but that is just my impression.

Thanks for doing this Adam,
Brian.

👆👆👆👆!!!this!!! I came back on shore 5 minutes before the time limit and after hosing down my gear awards had already started. The line to hose down gear was kind of long. I agree with the 30 minute break between weight in and the potluck! I had a great time regardless. Can’t wait for the next one.
