I have a barely used H-Crate.  I don't use it often enough, I prefer my DIY cooler.

Dusty from being in my shed but nothing broken.  Located in El Cerrito.  Could meet you somewhere if we meet up to fish.

General Talk / Kayak/Gear Storage in Richmond Annex
« on: September 05, 2022, 02:47:11 PM »
Hi guys,

Closed on a property this morning that has two large/long single-car garages.  None of my tenants want to rent them, and I'll probably only need one for my own personal gear/hobby storage.  Thinking about building some racks, a gear table, and have a rolling cart for ease of load/unloading.  I remember reading about some people needing storage in the Bay.  Its only about 10-15 minutes from Ferry Point going West or 10-15 minutes to Berkeley Marina going South.

Anyone interested?  Was only thinking about $20-25/month depending on how much space you need.  Completely indoor, one locked keyed entry, one rolling up garage door, and I'm having closed loop camera installed in the next week or two.

Located in Richmond Annex.  Right off San Pablo Avenue, across the street of El Cerrito Police/Fire Station and City Hall.

For Sale / Danielson crab traps

Three Danielson crab traps.
(2) blue traps are the XL ones.  One is about a year old and the other I just bought this past December.
(1) black trap is a standard trap that has been modified to conform to DFG rules (5” escape ring).  This one is about 2 years old.

All traps include a harness and a bait box.  $25 for each of the blue ones, $20 for the black one.  Will do $50 if you take all 3.

Pick up in El Cerrito.

For Sale / SOLD- 2017 Hobie Outback - $1400
« on: April 05, 2022, 07:51:25 PM »
I got this awhile back to shuttle my kids around inside harbors and flat calm water.

What’s the deal?  Why so cheap?

When I got this, it was missing the drive and vantage seat.  No accessories at all.  I’ve added a watersnake trolling motor where the drive would normally go, and just use a pad for a seat.  The brackets for the vantage seat is there, I just don’t use it.  Thought about doing the Hobie seat mod but never got around to it. It’s pre-wired for a Garmin FF but that thing died last year.  But the wiring and transducer is still on the boat.  Will throw in a Hobie paddle.

Don’t use it anymore.  Kids getting bigger and not interested on being on the water.  Wanting to free up space before my next house project.

Pick up in El Cerrito.  Will post pictures tomorrow.

Retiring these two pots.  Multiple seasons on them. Some rust but the box still holds its shape.  Could use a little time rebending some pieces.

Pick up in El Cerrito or I can bring them to CrabFest this afternoon.

Used it twice.  Not really my style of fishing, too parabolic for me.  Guess I’m not a salmon fisherman.

Bought new for $89.99+tax/shipping.

Will let it go for $40.

For Sale / FREE: Cast Iron Window weights
« on: January 14, 2021, 11:41:59 AM »
One of my projects in SF has 15 windows which I’m replacing all of them.  Each antique window uses 4x weights, roughly 4lbs each.  Figure they might be good crab pot weights or something that someone could use.

Free to pick up at the job site near Twin Peaks or at my house in El Cerrito.

For Sale / SOLD: Water Wolf fish cam
« on: October 07, 2020, 10:15:31 PM »
Bought this new last year.  Used it maybe twice.  Worked fine but just takes too much time setting up then editing video afterwards.  Rather spend that time fishing and not worrying about the camera angle.

Paid $149.99.  Asking $75.
I have everything except the original box.

Bought this as a spare when my v2 drive broke.  I repaired the v2 drive then sold my ‘14 outback.

This GT Drive is brand new.  Stored in the Hobie bag for a few years.  Just recently found it and I don’t need it for my 2020 outback.

$400 or best offer.  $50 of the sale will be donated to NCKA.
Located in El Cerrito.

Kayak Diving and Spearfishing / Spearing in the SF Bay?
« on: February 06, 2020, 08:20:57 AM »
Read the regs over and over, but nothing definitive.  I caught so many legal sized halibut in 15ft or less last summer.  I might consider trying it at Paradise or Ferry Point on an absolutely clear day unless you guys tell me otherwise.

Is the water too murky?  Chemicals going to turn me into the swamp thing?
Why aren't more guys doing it?

Thanks for any tips or advice.
