For Sale / Hook 3X fish finder SOLD
« on: February 26, 2018, 04:13:04 PM »
I have a new unused Lowrance Hook 3X for sale.  It came on a new boat I purchased.  They mounted the FF on the boat but did not wire it.  Comes with FF, transducer, bracket, mount and all the assorted screws and transducer bracket parts.  $75  I would put up a photo but Photobucket can kiss my ass regarding their new policies. Text me for a photo.  I'm in Woodland.  530-219-7938

Gearing Up and Rigging Up / drifting dead bait for halibut
« on: July 16, 2017, 09:51:40 AM »
I have a question for the membership regarding drifting dead bait for halibut(herring, anchovies and jack smelt)......I use a trap rig with a sliding 3/0 hook above a #4 treble on the bottom.  I have a 2-3 foot leader attached to a snap swivel at the end of my main line and run about 2 oz torpedo sinker on the same swivel ......what do you guys use in regards to size of hook and how you rig it?  Thanks.

Sam

Hookups and Fishing Reports (Viewable by Public) / Port today
« on: May 29, 2017, 05:10:42 PM »
Junky and I fished the port today.  We launched at 6 and found it breezy but cool.  The bass weren't plentiful today but I did see some stripers caught on bluegills.  There were a few NCKA members in attendance.  I ended the day with 8 bass to 13 inches all caught on Whopper Ploppers.

For Sale / 10 foot Equinox for sale...PRICE REDUCED!
« on: March 12, 2017, 03:12:43 PM »
I have a 10 foot Equinox sit inside for sale.  Bought it for the wife and she's moved on to another yak so it's gotta  go.  It has had some damage to the bottom in the past but has been properly repaired and does not leak.  It paddles good and glides nicely.  The deck cordage has all been replaced.  Seat is comfortable and it has two  locking hatches one with a waterproof compartment. Comes with a 215 cm paddle.  $50   Great for the kids or an extra for when guests want to go fishing/paddling too!
