Well it was a perfect day on the water at the Rockwall got one big leopard shark
And the wind did not pickup till 300pm so that was cool no halleys or bass to speak of
I would have been happy but when I got back to my truck you guess it my truck was
Broken in too they got nothing that they could sell easily but it will be $$$ to replace.

They took my fish finder box that I carry all the fish finder things in but they did not
Get the fish finder because it was with me they did get the paddle wheel transducer
And my new fish finder bracket that I just bought 60 $$ and I never used it once
It was for my sliding rod holder raymarine charges 40 dollars + shipping so that
Really sucks and a bunch of odds & ends I guess IT could have been worse
The loss was about 250 or less from now on I just bring what I need and leave
Nothing for the scumbags to take!!

So it is a long shot but if any of you see that my paddle wheel transducer
Let me know I will check the swap meets this week end thanks guys

Thanks for the report, sorry to hear about the break in.  I hate these freakin lowlifes. had my car window smashed and a wallet taken from my car while surfing Manresa.  They got about 7 bucks and a really old atm card (pre visa logo) but the damn window cost about a hundred fifty to replace.

Thanks for the report Duane sorry bout the break in. Was that at the ramp next to Encinal  High? I lived in Alameda for 8 years used to launch there all the time that was before the base closed, the Navy patrolled the ramp lot never had a problem. Seems like the sleezes are picking on us because they know we leave our cars early and won't be back for quite awhile. wouldn't it be nice to have web cams at the ramps, not only give us a little securaity but we could check conditions.

I fish a spot on the Russian River called Dry Creek got there a little late one morning and it was parked up so I drove to a vineyard on the other side on river and walked in. That morning 27 cars and trucks were broken in to, when I fished there in the afternoon both sides of the road were covered in glass.
It's a bummer when you just want to go fishing to relax and de-stress and you have to worry about being broken to at the same time.

As I said before, heaven is a place where you can leave your camping and fishing stuff in your truck ALL THE TIME.

Here in the Bay it's looking like never. I know how you feel, having had my own smashup job a couple months ago.  Now I'm seriously considering always just leaving my truck open with no real valuables in it.  Everything has to come in a dry bag, bar nothing.  Though sometimes that won't work.

Hatin on the selfish punks who rip off fishers!   :smt013

you'd think somebody would get enterprising about it and offer to watch the vehicle for a few bucks.

that's how they do it in a lot of places.  a lot easier than breaking windows for $7.

it's not a hard guarantee, but usually works.
