Well, happy birthday!! I missed that announcement. I saw a few nice sturgeon jump and one huge one. They are definitely in that area. I did see some other boils at the surface, but couldn't tell what they were.
It was a great time meeting people and fishing with you guys. Hope to do more fishing in the future.

With weather chances of decreasing, I offered my wife a chance to bail, and she did. I however am on my way now. Her not coming did offer more room in the element, so I was able to get two folding tables loaded up for the bbq.

I mostly plan to sturgeon fish, or whatever else decides to hit on what I throw out. I may bring some plugs and jigs if that is what I can catch something on.

I tube and snorkel that area a lot in the summer heat with the family. Usually launch at Sunrise and float to River Bend. Have seen a lot of deep holes. There is a lot of area on the bank that can be reached pretty easy just off areas along the bike trail.

I could look and find some places. About the only watering hole that I frequent is New Glory brewery, but no live entertainment except trivia every other Thursday. They make some amazing brews though.
