Hey Guys!
I haven't posted here in a while, sorry about that.  I'm hosting a small fishing tournament on April 30th at Oyster Point for anybody that might be interested! Food, drinks, raffle, and giveaways are included.  It will be for biggest halibut by weight! Hoping some of you NCKA members can come represent. Check out the link for more info! Thanks guys.

Hey guys I linked up with Completely Hooked Lures (CHL lures) and they sent me a bunch of soft plastic grubs / worms / bugs that I'm excited to try out.  They look like candy  :smt007  In my opinion their products are second to none. Please check them out and use the discount code: "nickfish007" for 15% off

General Talk / GWS at Rockaway 8/15
« on: August 15, 2019, 03:32:39 PM »
The guy with the drone was back again at Rockaway and captured another sighting of a GWS near shore around 1 pm.  Just thought I'd give the heads up, no surfers in the water after that.  I was fishing on the other side of pedro and saw 20-30 fresh newborn seals hanging out near the water.  I heard they like the babies because they're higher in fat?

Hey guys I've got a weird one for you today.  :smt003
My buddy Kurt caught a halibut on Tuesday near Oyster Point.  It was short so he released it but it was brown on BOTH sides!  Has anyone seen this before?

Hi everyone,
I'm selling my Hobie Oasis Tandem Pedal kayak.  Always garaged with no issues.  What would you pay for a kayak like this? I need some local knowledge about this kind of stuff. If anyone is interested please shoot me a PM or text.  Great kayak for taking the kids, dog, or a lucky friend out for a day of fishing  :smt001

Hookups and Fishing Reports (Viewable by Public) / Crab Pacifica, CA.
« on: January 22, 2019, 05:14:34 PM »
Hey guys MakoNick here. Decided to fish from shore last week with a fellow NCKA member for Dungies in Pacifica.  Didn't feel like hauling out the kayak but I wish I did.  The conditions were like glass and it was an above average day for crab.  We ended up with 5 males and threw back a legal female as well. Not bad for a 3 hour trip.  Here is some footage of the day. Skip to 10:15 for the fishing.

Went out with a fellow NCKA member out of Coyote Point this morning @ 730AM. Outgoing tide. Caught one small halibut and one keeper 24 inch @ around 10 ft bottle bouncing anchovy.
