Congrats on the Cove halibut, Mark.  A memory for sure

I’ll be there but not bringing the kayak.  Are there any clamming spots near The Cove?  There is a nice minus tide on the 11th.

I enjoy when God protects me despite my ambition.  In my selfish state I will go to great means to get what I want.  Interestingly, when I get what I want, if not in His perfect will, it always falls short of my expectations for contentment and joy. :smt006

I'm going to print that out and hang it on the wall !

I also have AAA.  They insured me when State Farm wouldn't after moving to Sebastopol 4 years ago.  Not cheap, but maybe not more expensive than others.

Thanks for the report, Sam.

General Talk / Lose a Kayak Near Mendocino?
« on: April 18, 2023, 03:08:40 PM »
Visiting Mendocino today and saw this Jackson kayak on top of a pile of driftwood down a cliff in the bay.  It would be quite a task to get it out.

I guess I might as well not fight the inevitable. So , here is the location to a spot that is usually pretty productive.

I've fished there. Nothing but dinks. Time on shore though was quite stimulating!
