Hey all, member since 2016 but usually posting on LCKA up in Humboldt County. Should have posted this earier but if you see this kayak please contact by text with photos, my contact ph is 707-836-6595.
KAYAK STOLEN - LOCK CUT 4/28/21 at Stillwater Cove, Sonoma Coast
Don't buy this kayak!
It was stolen at Stillwater Cove on the Sonoma coast while locked to a bench. Cable lock was cut.
Model;
2017 Ocean Kayak - Trident 13 fishing kayak.
Color;
grey/black/white
Serial Number stamped on stern;
XTC392921617
Description and identifying marks;
Black crate with rod holders attached to rear well. Small compass mounted on center console. My last name "COLWELL" written in black sharpie on both sides of stern, now faded black lettering and likely removed by thief. Blue "Clavey Paddlesports" decal on (R) starboard bow.
Doubt I'll ever see it again, but if anyone sees this yak turn up in an online CL ad or on a FB fishing group, please notify me and or the Sonoma County Sheriff at their dispatch number; 707-565-2121

ps - lesson learned. Locks don't stop thieves. Don't leave gear visible when loading/unloading.
