great thread!!  the Delta is daunting for a new kayaker.  a thread like this helps immensely.

I totally agree. New to kayak fishing and I gravitated to this post because I've always wanted to fish the delta but so far I've logged a lot of time researching and zero hours of actual delta fishing on a kayak.
