General Fishing Tips / Doran Butts?
« on: June 28, 2011, 07:39:25 PM »
My fam and I are camping out at Doran 7-2 thru 7-4. Any advice on the butts? Will have some newbs with me ( as well as myself ) . Planning on trying to get some rock crab with rings and killing time trying to catch a fish or two. I have a few butt rigs.....man that sounds bad, w/ the tri swivel, will drifting with frozen chovies have any success? I know live bait is better but I'm bringing way to much s!$t to worry about that. Thanks in advance for any info.

Press Democrat is reporting that Henry 1 rescued a abalone diver after he got swept 2 miles out to sea in his kayak. Sounds like he's ok.

I'm looking for a battery powered FF, and I mean AA or AAA batteries. Do they make one? I don't want to spend over $150. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Anthony

Kayaks / Trident 4.7 vs Hobie Outback
« on: November 27, 2010, 01:13:38 PM »
I was looking @ buying a new yak in the spring and was planning on getting a Hobie Outback. I went to Clavey's in Petaluma yesterday (where I live) and say the Trident 4.7 in the camo color. It threw my world upside down. Now i have no clue what I want. Any comments or in-site would be greatly appreciated.
