I am all for the flatfish, it's a whole new species group that's fun to target in my opinion and has lots of potential. Targeting Greenling does not take much skill as far as I'm concerned, flatfish are much more of a specific species to target and take a bit more patience, technique, and finesse. Plus they are much better table fare than Greenling.

Which species did you and your brother have a difficult time catching to secure your win at TRW? :smt013
Well played sir, well played.  I felt like karma was coming back to bite me after I suggested they weren't worthy of AOTY  :smt044.  But for the record, Matt did catch several greenling that day, just no legal-sized ones.

I too have been humbled by the greenling.  :smt003

Locking down this vote - greenling stay in, as it is clear that the competitors prefer them to stay in, in a landslide.  Other species additions are still being discussed.  It appears that the mouth closed rule will be changed as well, so greenling with their funny mouth will now be approved as long as an effort is made to close it.

Damm, looks like I have a new target to shoot at, maybe one day I will figure out how to catch a couple of those bastards.
Remember to practice safe knots, because big fish don't just break your line, they also break your heart.
