At least in years before computer licenses, we were given a paper the same size as the license that was to be submitted to the F&G in case a license was missing and you'd get a new one.  There must (ought to) be the equivalent with computer licenses.

That Fing sucks, been there, makes you want to kill someone,,,,,,

On the upside I do think the new computerized system will allow you to replace everything, (I think)

Call a DFG office, try the one in Yountville, years ago I went there to get a license relaced.

There's a small fee, but any license agent can get you a duplicate license.  The details are available on the DFG web site.  My son lost his and got a new one but I don't recall exactly how much he had to pay but i think he got it at the local Big 5 store.

I hear that bro....makes my heart race just thinking about it.   :smt013 :smt011 :smt013

I really hope you get the licence and tag thing sorted out bro....you let us know if your family or friends want abs and you can't get them and we will take care of you.

Joe Bloodbath just gifted my family an ab, so I'm due to pay it forward!

Glad no one was in the house at the time, and that all persons are fine.  I can empathize.

My home got broken into during Christmas 2006 and they took off with ALL my wife's jewelry.  The only thing they didn't get was her watch, which she was wearing that day.  They left alone computers, cameras, anything bulky.

You still got your yak, right?  and your dive gear?

bummer andy, you definately can get a duplicate license, but the cards are another issue, you only get one ab/sturgeon card a year if it is lost no duplicates, in the past it was easy to get another, but with the computerized thing this year, probably not, glad you and the family are safe, cameron

Replacement license is twelve biz, they just swipe your ID and print it out.  Not sure about the tags...

Out of curiosity, did you file a police report?  It might help your case if when trying to replace your license that you produce the report, especially for the tags.

Time to get one of those video surveillance setups.  There are lots of thieves running around and probably living in our neighborhoods.

oh man... I am so sorry to hear that... that happened to me long time ago, all my DJ equipment/records/lights got stolen.

recently at my office, a coworker had his house broken into and they went straight for the jewelry and laptops.  As he was telling me the story, I was asking what applications he had installed, and with that I was able to trace his laptop in 15mins.  The officer got to that house that evening when we saw the laptop online, and get it back.

if you need help setting up something like that on your laptop/PC, let me know.

this year it seems to be really bad in thefts...

go to this website:  https://www.crimereports.com/
and throw in your address, (select 30days out) and see if there is any type of crime in your area, you can see if they are targeting the vicinity or just you.
