Hmmm..$1000 price difference but 550 miles in fuel. Plus the one in Reno looks pretty beat up and comes with absolutely nothing. The one 30 min from you comes with all the bells and whistles and the one 300 miles away is bare bones. I'd bet you'd have to pay a little tax as well. Keep it in the circle and get the turn key suped up yak.

Wow, plug and go..

Gearing Up and Rigging Up / Re: Why clean your reels?
« on: September 16, 2018, 08:11:23 AM »
Definitely good to keep your reels cleaned and greased. If you dunk your reels from time to time like I do, it's a must.

I know of people that soak their reels in a bucket of freshwater after it's been in the salt, although I hear mixed things about it.

My brother does this. He actually soaks it in warm watee overnight from time to time. Never really asked him why. What is are the cons to soaking in fresh water?

The rock fishing isn’t fantastic at Lindamar, but you could still fill the freezer and it offers more of a wilderness experience than launching from Pillar Point Harbor.

+1. They are there. Not plentiful but I've seen KPD come back with some lunkers.
