Pelican sentinel 100x angler

I wheel a first gen shortbox toyota truck,  I've been hauling a 10 sit in for years it's  getting to be a pita getting in and out of.

What kind of fishing you looking to do?  Ocean, bay, river, lakes? 

This rig is for small water , rivers,lakes and the like.
Most accessible by 4x4 only.
I have 2 lakes and the napa river in town I'll be using it on.

Price is hard to beat, for a small lightweight yak.  But honestly this description is filled stupidity:

I'd see it up close and see if it works for your purpose.  Otherwise I'd look for a tarpon 100, just cause they are proven yak worthiness.

If you are looking into using for just lakes? Should be fine. Rivers might be a different story depending on how fst the current and how well that kayak tracks.

Check out this 9 foot hobie. Should track well. Some extras as well.

I'm going to agree with AlsHobieOutback on this.  The Tarpon 100 or the newer Tarpon 105 are 10-feet long versus 9-feet 6-inches for the Sentinel, and they're 8-pounds heavier, but they're about as good a boat as you'll find in an affordable 10-foot kayak.

But if the Sentinel suits you and your purposes, go for it.
