Hi
This is my first post to Nor Cal Kayak Anglers. I'm an avid kayak fisherman in Rhode Island & hope to learn some new techniques etc. from you guys on the West Coast. First discovered N.C.K.A. when searching (so far unsuccessfully) for some some cross bar mounts for my Hobie A.I. to mount a small gas motor. 4

I realize this is a little off topic from your post, but I'm a new member & don't see any option for me to make a new post or start a new topic.
I'm trying to get info to contact Pat R. so I can order some Scotty cross bar mounts to mount an outboard motor on my Hobie A.I. It would be much appreciated if someone would post the info or send me a p.m. 5

Hi
Just signed up with N.C.K.A., trying to learn how to navigate & use this site. I live on the East Coast, in New England, Rhode Island to be precise, been kayak fishing since about 2003 but still have a lot to learn, & that's one of the things I like about it. It looks like many of our fish species here are different from the West Coast, but a predatory fish is still a predatory fish so I believe most baits, lures, techniques etc. that work there will also work here & vice versa, so I'm excited about being a member of N.C.K.A. & hoping to learn from you guys & increase/improve my catch rate. Wish we had halibut inshore like you guys, even offshore here it's rare to hear of an Atlantic Halibut being caught anymore.
