General Talk / Rollins Lake (Colfax)...Anyone been???
« on: May 25, 2010, 06:39:21 PM »
Just wondering if anyone has been to Rollins Lake and has any thoughts about if I should go there this weekend to do some yaking/fly fishing...I have never been so I have no clue about the place, where to go and how crowded it might be for Memorial Day.  I appreciate any input...thanks in advance!!!  :fish

Also Im coming out of Folsom, if anyone has any ideas for a better place around the same distance out that would be good to check out let me know...

For Sale / Fishing Kayak Wanted (Sacramento)
« on: April 21, 2010, 11:00:48 AM »
I am looking for a sit on top kayak for fishing.  I would like to spend $500 or less, but I might go slightly higher than $500 depending on what you have.  I would like it to be around 10' and not only be good for fishing but also decent for the occasional distance paddle as I will be using it for both.  I live near Sacramento (Folsom) so the Bay Area would be a bit far for me to go at this point.  If you have a kayak that fits the bill let me know!  Thanks!!!

Oh and I am new to the forum/kayak fishing so I just wanted to introduce myself in my first post.  My name is K.C., I have lived in Folsom for about 2 yrs, but I am originally from Oregon.  I am really looking forward to getting into this whole lifestyle and I will probably see you all at some upcoming events.  Thanks to everyone on the forum for the great info I gotten so far!  :smt006
