Halibut trolling mission. Incredible amount of bait and creatures chasing bait. Whales/sea lions/porpoises/diving birds. Tried chasing the bait myself but hooked into several large salmon so had to move on :smt044. Eventually got into a keeper halibut in 30fow on a yellow hoochie behind a gold/silver dodger. Reminds me of a time or two I got out there after salmon....so much activity with the whales, threshers and other large sea life popping up all around.
Would be nice to harvest and tray up some anchovies but likely after the effort to get there it would be hard to focus on getting bait.
