Funny, I was thinking the same thing.  All of that weight just crushing his intestines.  Nonetheless, very interesting, just hope good comes of it.

IMO: I could care less about the sharks in Guadalupe Island...how about tracking and studying the sharks that frequent the areas where people swim,surf,dive and kayak fish?????   :smt011

It was a good show though....

They actually tagged three sharks this way off the farallones.  Can't believe they were actually issued a permit to tag these large sharks this way.
