Good afternoon all,
Just joined the forum so wanted to say hello.

Been in the east bay for about 10 years.
Landed an free scupper pro yak as my first a while back and have taken it out along the northern coast (point arena, timber cove) as well as San Diego coast. looking at picking up a new yak in the near future and getting out there some more.
recently have gotten into fly fishing...glad to be here.

thanks,
Mike

Welcome Mike!  I'm curious, are you in the tech industry?  Starting with hello world and having a sonic.net IP makes me think so  :smt044. Anyway, welcome to the madness  :smt003

Hello Moto Mike. In addition to the kayak fishing thing, I also occasionally do the Moto fly fishing thing. I have a piece of sewer pipe mounted to my adventure bike that acts as a rod case. The ride to fishing destinations is often better than the fishing.

Sold my last bike, 2018 KTM 450EXC-F Six Days, a few years ago. Regretting it now. I get the itch to ride so bad sometimes now. All I can do to cure it is go fishing or drink. Not that that's a bad thing!

Nice... those 990s are a gem.  I say they are still the best large displacement adv bike KTM made.  The 675 is a fantastic bike... the transmission is a bit annoying... not much difference between 2nd, 3rd, and 4th given the range of that motor.

My current stable includes the '17 Yamaha FJ-09, '16 KTM 390 Duke, and an '09 Suzuki DR650.  I've been getting an itch to add a grom to the stable, but we'll see.

Hope to see ya on the water or in the twisties or on the trails!
