General Talk / just finished a kayak trailer build

hey guys :smt006  I found a harbor freight trailer was headed to the scrap yard offered the guy a few bucks ,dragged it home and went to the drawing board,and this is what I came up with,mind you I started with a flat trailer with one tire. still room for suggestions

well guys did not get to anchor bay :smt005 honey do trumped those plans.
and the long term forecast is not pretty well keep an eye on it and maybe get another window of
opportunity before next Mon was the only day that looks good now..... as my dad told me  son if you don't do honey do your honey wont do you  :smt002

i am thinking of entering the L R C and don't know the area. so loading the yak and driving up
to have a look and wet a line . any tips or pointers will be greatly appreciated

thanks to taklarry067 for taking the time to show some newbies the ropes
conditions were better than forecast . the bite was fair even if I was over kill with my equip
watched too many lingcod videos .simply put you don't hunt rabbit with an elephant gun
bait was shrimp fly rig tipped with squid and anchovy   
I got a few rockfish. all in all the trip was awesome. kayak fishing setthehook on me  :smt003

I found a post about someones store buying out another kayak store and having a lot of inventory for sell at discount prices but cant seem to locate the post again, I am trying to get my brother in to kayak fishing sport wanted to look at some of the trade In's can the member that made the post please pm the phone # of the store

new member looking to get a rockfish trip in before the season ends
it would be my first time. so I don't know where, or what jigs any pointers
would be very welcome. someone willing to show a newbie the ropes would be awesome :smt044
oh yea I'm retired so scheduling not a problem and my WAF account is supper fat  :smt002 so pm me with advice and tips thanks guys

hello to all members  my name is Tim been fishing since age 5 when my mom put a cane pole in my hands and said when the bobber
go's down pull hard. well it went down I pulled so hard poor bluegill came out the water and hit my dad in the face.
hence the nick name( setthehooknich) looking to make memories much like that one with you guys. well maybe not the fish in the face part. now retired just got a kayak and anyday can be a fishing day so drop my a line and lets get hooked up (he he he) pun intended
