Heavy duty garbage bag, fold like a dry bag.  Might even float if content is not too heavy  :smt044

+1 on Union reservoir ... beautiful lake ... not crowded ... lots of islands
As a side note, was up there in July last year when there were a series of quakes ... first time i heard an earthquake before i felt it ...

Loon Lake has boat-in camping.  Easy hike from there to Desolation Wilderness too
