It has been stored hanging in a closet since it was purchased.  It is an XL size in perfect condition.

Craftsmen's Corner / RAINY DAY PLANO PROJEST
« on: March 29, 2014, 01:43:09 PM »
Rigged the mighty plano box with 1-1/2" ABS, 1/2" aluminum square tube.  Mushroomed the tops and made sure the will cradle a reel.
A couple of hooks and pad eyes, for securing to yak and holding down rods, or whatever.  Would have rather been OTW, but what the heck.

I'm in the middle of mounting my Elite 4 HDI on to my Cuda 14.  Just a heads up to anyone contemplating a scupper mount transducer on a Jackson Cuda , the new HDI transducer is too large to tuck up into the scupper hole far enough to clear the bottom of the kayak.  Looks like the choices left are in hull or flex arm.  Not sure which way to go.  If any one can give me a tip, please jump in.

Introductions / ON BOARD IN BENICIA
« on: February 08, 2014, 12:50:02 PM »
Checking into the group.  Lived in and around SF bay my entire life of 57 years.  Hunted, fished, and enjoyed all the activities the bay and the coast had to offer.  Last year I got interested in kayaks and more specifically kayak fishing.  I purchase a Cuda 14 from Headwaters in Lodi and began putting together some gear.  The only place I have kayaked so far is the Carquinez Straights off of my home town of Benicia.  Did a little salmon fishing off of First Street, great stuff.  Inadvertently took a swim one afternoon, and although the weather was warm, the water was a bit chilly during my 20 minute swim.  Broke the cardinal rule and did not practice re entry before I ventured out.  Time for a wetsuit and practice.
Great to be a part of this.  Looking forward to gaining experience and having some great times.
