Greetings all.  I'm just getting into the sport after being a land-lubbing shore angler for many years.  I'm hoping to get out and do some fishing in fresh and salt water, and hopefully meet some good folks along the way. What I REALLY want is to get my hands on some of those big Salt Point lings that have snapped my line at the base of the cliff over the years ;) Look forward to getting to know the group.

I know the feeling of sitting on the rocks or shore and wishing I could cast a little further, knowing more and bigger fish were just out of reach. 
I also got tired of donating so much terminal gear to the rocks below Pigeon Point Lighthouse. 

I really want to go up to the north coast for a fish and dive weekend.
