For Sale / Jackson Cuda for sale. Used twice!
« on: April 28, 2013, 03:46:46 PM »
Well, last year I bought an awesome Jackson Cuda (2012 model)and I've used it twice! I was all excited about getting more involved but I threw out my back a few weeks in, and then my wife gets pregnant. Oooops!

I'm selling the Cuda and the carbon fiber BB Angler pro paddle I bought with it. Both used twice. No mods or anything.

$1000

Jackson Kayak / Paddled a Cuda yesterday, bought a Cuda today
« on: September 15, 2012, 06:44:04 PM »
Made a couple trips to Headwaters today. Well worth it. Dan and Victor are awesome. Great service by a couple of really good guys. Got a great deal too on the 2012  14' Cuda (black widow) and a BB angler pro paddle.

Super excited, and can not wait to get it out on the water next week. Probably on the American during the week and I hope to get on the salt asap.

Big thanks to Dan, Victor and Adam (ATD), for getting me paddling and into a Cuda so quickly and at a great deal. Hope to see you all OTW soon.

Attaching some pics. Hope it works out.

Jackson Kayak / Paddled a Jackson Cuda Today
« on: September 14, 2012, 11:05:34 PM »
ATD was generous enough to meet me on the American river so that I could paddle the Cuda. Awesome kayak. It's stable, comfortable, dry, has tons of great features, and it looks better in person than I expected. It is a bit heavy and seems slightly slow. The positives far outweigh the negatives, in my opinion. I plan on heading to headwaters to check out the swap tomorrow. Ill probably pick up a Cuda unless I spot a great deal on a Trident or something.

We fished for Salmon for a bit, no luck. But the few casts were icing on the cake, as I really just wanted to try out the Cuda.

Thanks Adam!
P.S. I took a nice photo and tried to post it, but no luck. No idea why, and the video on the "how to post a pic" sticky did not work for me. Ill get it figured out and post it sometime.

Introductions / New Member - Buying first kayak
« on: September 09, 2012, 07:35:39 PM »
Hello All,
Been sifting through the site for a couple months now. Just sold my motorcycle, and the cash is going towards a kayak. An OK T13 is what I am leaning towards. I need to get out and demo. Are there any good shops to demo in the Sacramento area, or should I make a day of it in the bay?

I am a long time kayaker, sea and whitewater. It has been a long time since I have fished the salt (other than the occasional party boat). I plan on getting a guide (in Santa Cruz most likely) to teach me the ropes before I show you guys how clueless I am. I'm sure Ill see you on the water ASAP!

Thanks for all the great tips on the site.

Jonathan
