Went down river from Eddo’s. Drifted outgoing morning tide. Kind of day when you start making deals in your head “…if I could just catch one..” and that’s what I got.  One bite, one fish about 15” maybe. A couple boats fishing the north side of the river. Didn’t see much going on. The wind was just manageable for casting.

I launched at Eddo's once, when it was too windy at Sherman. Had about the same experience as you, spent all day hoping for just one fish. I trolled out of the little channel, hit the shallow flats, and the trolled around and back in from the other side - made a big loop about 5 miles or so.  Tried everything, and only pulled one 12" striper.  Almost got run over by an old guy in a ski boat in the narrow channel near the marina - woulda had words with him if had caught up.

Was a kinda cool spot otherwise, and definitely a option for when it's windy everywhere else.  Looks like it probably holds fish, just gotta figure out how to target them there.
