General Fishing Tips / Re: Lowrance Hook 5 GPS not functioning...
« on: July 19, 2018, 09:25:18 AM »
My Hook5 got wet on Sunday and quit working. It was 15 mo old and it cost me 119$+ tax and shipping.  I might switch brands now after that.   I am dissatisfied with Lowrance at the moment.   Good luck on your problem and I hope it doesn’t cost you like it did me.

The Salmon bite was slow for most, but we still had some fun.  Thanks Cameron for taking the Halibut pic for me.  Thanks Kiet for the gear and techniques.  It was great meeting some new friends and I'll see you all at Albion.

I'll be there before noon on Friday and fishing early Saturday morning, I've never fished here before & I'm by myself looking for hook ups.    Thanks Ken (gator).   White Dodge with black shell.
I’ll keep an eye out for you.

There will be a few folks there.  I might be able to manage one day.  Forecast looks great.
See you there hopefully.

GS12 WAS AWESOME!  The weatherman lied.

Thanks to Eric for putting on a hell of a show, Shuland for keeping us fed and happy, all my camp mates, and the whole crew for making us "The best group that visits Shelter Cove Campground".  Hell yes.  Im proud of us and what we do.

On that topic, this guy was so gentle releasing his King Salmon by-catch on Friday.  Very cool to see that shiny chrome.  PM an email address if you want better quality pics, IslandYak.

SEAWEED SALAD--If I can find the right seaweed.  I found it last year and hopefully that orchard is still in place.  If not seaweed salad, then a mystery veggie dish. :smt003

Fingers crossed....I love that stuff Raydon!

Thanks
