My friend working for City of Alameda Clean Water Program says there's reports of red tide spreading north towards with 50+ stripers (recorded) so far found floating around the Delta, for what it's worth.. just second hand info

Welcome! I'm also in Oakland and get out to fly fish quite a bit even though it's usually a drive. But shoot me a message if you like to meet up next time you head out to the bay/ocean, I've got a pretty flexible schedule.

FWIW, I was at Pacifica Wednesday from about 7am-1pm and didn't see any signs of salmon coming through, lots of croakers/king fish around, followed a few bait balls of anchovies here and there, but not much came up on finder in terms of anything chasing them that day. Did see some dolphins and a shark cruising around on my way in but don't know enough about dorsal fins to ID. Ill be trying HMB cans again next time! :smt005
