Anyone want to take a wild guess who backed the new lemon law bill?

The numbers there are per number of cars sold. And those are the numbers for actual court cases, not the number of lemons
My friends just lemoned a car and the company wanted to settle w provision it stayed out of court and they signed to keep mum. They refused and won
The GM stat is pretty stunning
The only one i ever owned was a 58 pickup
I had the first year of the F150 and loved it

you have it flipped around. for every 148 fords sold 1 will be a lemon claim. for every 2,029 toyotas sold 1 will be a lemon claim

Yikes, was def thinking of this as # of lemon law cases per xx number of units sold....
I actually kinda have to question those numbers though... Ford supplies an immense number of fleet and commercial vehicles. Which, apparently:
"If a business owns or leases no more than five vehicles, including trucks and vans, the California Lemon Law may apply to those vehicles." https://www.thelemonfirm.com/2024/03/20/commercial-vehicles/#:~:text=However%2C%20the%20law%20also%20extends,may%20apply%20to%20those%20vehicles.
