It’s a waiting game right now but this one scares me...

My Outback is in the bed of my truck along with my 3 favorite rods

Scotty

Hoping they can keep it on that side of hwy 12 for you bro!
My dad lives over in your hood and he’s pretty nervous too.
Fingers crossed.

I bought these a couple years ago and love them. Like Mel, I bought a couple sizes too big to wear over warm socks and drysuit.

Who was it that caught a nice salmon right in the cove at Fort Ross on 4th of July in 06'? And I mean right in the damn cove, within casting distance of me from the rocks.
I looked at my Dad and said "I'm getting one of those".
Whomever it was gave us a ride up the hill in his van. He was over the moon naturally.

It took a couple years, but I did get a kayak. Met Sean White at some REI gig at Spring Lake. Took some safety/fishing classes that he was teaching (awesome BTW) where I met Piski and a few others and was introduced to NCKA.
The 1st Albion was my 1st hookup. Sarah made me go because I'm shy AF, and she didn't want me fishing in the ocean by myself any longer.
I often thank her for making me do that. Aaron I think could sense my shyness and introduced me around. I met a bunch of the dudes there that weekend that I still hang with today.
If I remember right, Kiel won, Craig was was bent  :smt044, there was deep fried cheesecake and red velvet cake to die for, and every kind of amazing grub I could imagine. It was pure comedy, and I was sold.
I've met some of my best friends here.

What's up Matt!?
Did Tote ever show you the coin buried in the cement at his place we helped him move into?
Check it out.
Hope to see you again soon!

Rest In Peace Marv.
Your attitude thru all your trials and tribulations was so admirable.  You exemplify humbleness.
And your smile infectious.
Can’t wait to taste your bbq again one day.

Damn Bro!
Is that the length of the fish or that ponytail? :smt044
Way to get after it my man!

Safety First / Re: Get this Spyderco knife!
« on: June 27, 2020, 08:30:02 PM »
I've got that one, but never used it much. I prefer this one, as I can whip it out a lot faster.

Ever since I was traumatized by the "whale incident", I've got to have a knife that I can access in a fraction of a second...

I've had the same one on my pfd now for 10-11 years. Still good as new!

44
We love you Marv!
