what happens if conditions aren't really suitable for kayak fishing? Like big swells and high winds - or is MBK are well protected enough that that sort of thing is rare?

We all pack it up and drive away angry, while cursing the sea...   jk

With this group, it'll turn into a beach party with lots of food, good stories, probably some terrible photographs and bad life choices...

Bring something to throw for perch and such in the surf!

There is good perch fishing walking north till you hit some good surf. Stripers are also starting to show.

Ocean conditions should be more than manageable this time of year.

Joking aside, it would have to be pretty bad conditions for that area to not at least get out and try for a fish.  Plan C is a desperate one, but a plan none the less.  :smt005
