Recipes / Creamy Corn Soup with Crabmeat and Egg

Here you go!

2 tablespoon of vegetable oil
4 Garlic cloves, crushed
4 tablespoon of grated fresh ginger
4 cans of Chicken Broth
2 14.75oz canned of creamed corn
2 tablespoon of Thai fish Sauce
2 fresh steamed crab ( crabmeat )
Salt and Pepper
2 egg

To Garnish: Fresh shredded Cilantro and Paprika

Heat the oil in a large pan, heavy bottom pan. Add the garlic and saute for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Add the ginger to the pan, then stir in the Chicken Broth and creamed corn. Bring to a boil.

Stir in the fish sauce, crabmeat, and add the salt and pepper, to taste. Return the soup to a boil.

Beat the egg in a smal bowl, then stir lightly into the soup so its set into longs strands. let simmer gently for 30 seconds, or untill just set.

Ladle the soup into serving bowls and serve hot, garnished with shredded cilantro and paprika sprinkled over.

Perfect for cold weather!!!

I have to drop off my wife to her work at Santa Rosa tomorrow, so I figured after dropping her off, I'm just gonna go straight up to Doran to do some crabbing.

Recipes / Cabezon with Red Curry

- 2 Cabezon
- 3 Frozen 100% coconut milk
- 1 can of red curry paste
- 4 Tablespoon chopped Cilatro
- 4 Tablespoon chopped basil
- 5 or 6 garlic gloves
- 4 tablespoon lemon juice
- 5 or 6 pieces chopped fresh Thai Chilli Pepper
- 5 tablespoon fish sauce.

Place the coconut milk in a large pan and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and let simmer gently for 10 minutes until the milk has thickened. Stir in the curry paste and garlic and let simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

Cut the fish ( Cabezon) into steak about half an inch also. Add to the pan and bring to a boil stirring occasionally. Lower the heat and add lemon juice, fish sauce, chile and 1/2 tablespoon salt.

Cover the pan and continue simmering for 10 to 15 minutes or untill the fish is tender. Stir in the basil and cilantro and season to taste with salt and pepper and serve with freshly cooked rice.
