Thank you for this.  Just emailed the link to my Amazon Fire so it’s easier for me to read.  The first few paragraphs have me hooked.  What a story!

Great read, thanks for the heads up. I really wish he had a better diary so we could read more about his thoughts and feelings during this trip. Either way, What an adventure! How has this not become a movie yet?
