So I have I a question, I know this is a casual event but Glen is it acceptable to catch bait from the kayak with a conventional rod and reel and then transfer it to the hand line or do we need to fish exclusively with a hand line in order to be eligible to win all the glory?

Sorry; can not have a rod and/or Reel (spinning or conventional) on board the kayak.

I'm using a handline reel to catch bait, if needed.

Howdy. I just joined the board. I have recently acquired a Hobbie pa12. I have had both my shoulders carved on, so looking forward to the pedals. Headed out to Yorty Creek tomorrow, hope to snag a few crappies.
