Gearing Up and Rigging Up / Ram mount 4 elite 4x

hey guys, I just got my Ram mount for my new Elite 4x and sadly a lip on the mounting plate is preventing in from fitting well, It doesnt lock in and falls right out when tilted foward, Is that normal?? I sent an E mail to Bill/FFAC and to the retailer I purchased it from. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks David

A few years back I tore off the end of my lucky ultra light spinning rod and replaced the busted section with an old wine cork. Thought it looked kinda cool and it locks in real good in the rod holders now

This is the last 2oz. portion from the fat hen I took from lake sonoma in the post Lake sonoma steelhead pt1. Blackened with creole seasoning and Ancho chile powder finished with whole butter and a twist of fresh lemon with a side of stir fried Broccolini in Thai Oyster sauce over Jasmine Rice . Now I dont feel as guilty for killing her!

Here is one of my all time Favorite patterns, for its ease of tying and that it works on almost all species just change colors and adjust the amount of weight .Add or omit flash and ta da!!! The Nightleech !!! What are your Favorites ?

Also my version of the Boss a Russian river original!
