This is a octopus we caught in a crab cage. He opened the 2 bait cans of chicken and fish. He also ate the whole mackerel that was hanging from the zip tie. To bad we couldn't keep it.

Used to fish for them a lot as a kid, there were ponds in the neighborhood. It’s nice to see when someone posts some, but for me, I’m now more drawn to salt.

Finally getting to spend time fishing ( not wheeling with the jeep clubs has it's privileges ) I usually carry spin rod setup, going to take a 5 wt this trip.
